Halton Healthcare offers a complimentary patient email service for individuals who cannot come to the hospital for a visit

Send a greeting via email by providing the full name of the patient in the subject line, including room number or unit, if known * a volunteer will print the message, seal it and arrange for delivery * volunteers are unable to open attachments * greetings will only be delivered to current inpatients that have chosen to be listed in the hospital directory * hospital is not responsible for e-mails that are misdirected, lost or accidentally deleted from the message system

Pet visits must be pre-arranged and are limited to dogs, including guide dogs

Video Calling Feature is now available on all bedside patient entertainment terminals, making it easier for patients to connect with their loved ones while staying in the hospital * this service is completely free for patients and families and does not require any device rental
