Description of Services:

4-bed mental health unit within emergency department * team provides crisis management, psychiatric assessment, and treatment for patients presenting with an emergency * patients are either discharged or admitted to an inpatient mental health unit at the hospital * team supports mental health and addiction at the Niagara Falls and Welland emergency departments through video conferencing
