Description of Services:
Care for patients with acute to chronic health conditions of the respiratory system, including:

  • chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • asthma
  • pulmonary fibrosis
  • acute respiratory illness or disease processes


Patients served in this unit, are those who have had or who need:

  • oxygen therapy
  • tracheostomies
  • inhaler and nebulizer therapy
  • infection prevention and control (e.g. negative pressure)
