The DAP consists of:
- Rapid diagnostic phase
- Breast support clinic
Patients in this program have access to a team of Osler radiologists, pathologists, surgeons, and medical and radiation oncologists. A dedicated nurse navigator arranges rapid consultation and treatment if a biopsy is indicated. The nurse navigator also provides education and guides patients through care transitions, while keeping the primary care physician informed of the patient’s progress
