Urgent Care Clinic referrals often come from University Health Network Emergency Departments. Family physicians and other specialists may also refer patients in crisis who do not have current psychiatric follow-ups.

Urgent Care Clinic accepts all internal referrals regardless of catchment area. External referrals to UCC are restricted to the catchment area.

Description of Services:
Clinic operates Monday to Friday, with psychiatrists available for assessments. The clinicians who work in UCC also work in Psychiatric Emergency Services (PES) and participate in the initial assessment with the psychiatrist and can offer short term follow up.
